  • Orchestra Pit: Moves with a Gala System. Pit is eye shaped. 56’ wide, 8’ deep @ center. Pit can be seated.
  • House Main: Operates stage right on rail at stage level, traveler or guillotine.
  • Line sets: 51 on 8-1⁄4” centers. Plaster line to 1st available line set 0’ 9”. Last available line set 38’-9”. Battens are 73’ long (except last two pipes they are 71’3”) with an out trim at 67’4”.
  • Pin Rail: Stage left and right on bridge off deck.
  • Fly Rail: Stage right on deck. Single Purchase arbors rated 2080 lbs.
  • Grid height: 70’ to walking surface, Grid is subway grate.
  • Shell Ceilings: On motorized flat truss, 1-6’4”, 2-17’11”, 3-29’ 2”. They are 1’1” thick, 56’ 5” long and 51’ from bottom edge to stage floor. Storage motorized box truss US 36’3”.
  • Chain Motor: 1 ton chain motor USL to stack and un-stack road cases.

Lighting Control

  • Light Board: ETC ION 6000 one fader wing and an iPad iRFR on WiFi. System operates on an ETC NET2 DMX over an Ethernet network.
  • Houselights: Controlled through an AMX touch screen interface.
  • Front of House Transfer Panel: Plug into DMX to control all stage lighting. Production lighting circuits, all terminating in grounded stage pin connectors.
  • Dimmers: 356 ETC Sensor dimmers 20A with 10 optional ETC Dual 20A Relay Module.
  • Relays: 38 Lithonia Synergy 20A Relay.

  • Light Booth: Back of house in the booth 82’ from plaster line.
  • Follow Spot Booth: Located rear balcony. (3) Strong Super Trooper II 2K. Throw to plaster line is 102’.
  • Horizontal Box Boom (High) SL & SR: 11 circuits. (11) 19 deg.
  • Horizontal Box Boom (Low) SL & SR: 4 circuits.
  • Balcony Rail: 7 circuits. 60’ throw to deck. (3) 14 deg. & (7) 26 deg.
  • 1st Catwalk (over acoustic canopy): 21 - circuits. (4) PAR.
  • 2nd Catwalk: 30 circuits. 45’ throw to deck. (25) 14 deg.
  • 3rd Catwalk: 20 circuits. 75’ throw to deck. (25) 10 deg.
  • 4th Catwalk: 10 circuits. 110’ throw to deck. (10) 5 deg.

Sound System

  • Mix Position: Sound can run from control booth or in house. Seats are removed and platforms set up to mix in house. 6’8” deep x 13’ wide - large. 6’8” deep x 6’8” wide - small.
  • FOH Console: Avid Venue Profile, 1x 48x16 stage rack, 1x 48x24 stage rack, IOx insert card, 3x DSP engines.
  • MON Console: Avid SC48 w/ 48ch Remote Rack.
  • System Processing: BSS Soundweb London BLU handles all distribution and processing. d&b system processed by 30D amps.
  • Main PA: d&b Y-Series line array w/ 12 per side full range cabinets and 3 per side V-Sub sub cabinets. The system is Array Processed.
  • Proscenium Vox PA: 1 per side d&b 24c covering Orchestra seating area. Cannot be used with Y-series line array.
  • Center Cluster: (2) Renkus Heinz STX4/44 hung two wide over the stage lip. (1) Renkus Heinz TRX62H downshot. Hangs on flat truss on chain motors. Removable.
  • Delay Cluster: (3) Renkus Heinz STX4/44 hung two wide over first row balcony.
  • Lip Fills: (8) Meyer MM4 speakers recessed into lip of stage.
  • Under Balcony Fills: (8) Meyer MM4 speakers recessed underside of balcony.
  • Portable Speakers: (12) EV T221m monitor wedges. Additional available.
  • Paging: Backstage paging stations located, DSL, DSR, and FOH Mix. Priority override.
  • Show Relay: Backstage relay available in all backstage areas. Volume has page priority override.
  • Listening Assist: Williams Sound FM ALS System. Distribution station located in lobby Orchestra Coat Check.
  • Intercom: Clear-Com 2 channel system with connections throughout stage area.

Loading Dock

Two truck docks (one leveler, second needs dock plate). Dock spaces face South Church Street. Each dock door - 8’ Wide 10’ High. The distance from the inner doors to outer doors is 65’.

SM Calling Desk

There is a rolling cabinet for stage managers downstage left or right. It contains a hard wired paging station.

Union Information

The Knight Theatre is a union house. All Stagehands are provided by IATSE Local 322. Local 322 is a mixed local representing all crafts and truck loaders. Venue has no other union contracts (AFM, Equity, etc.).
